The D. Family

What a fun Mini session last weekend!  The D. family and I met up at the Japaneses Gardens for some summer fun.

Both of these little ones were super sweet and happy!  We had a great time running around to different parts of the park.  

We focused our session on getting shots of the little ones together and on their own.  They also brought along some superheros and a monkey to make the session extra entertainment.

There were cute moments too!  

I hope they weren't to tired after our session!

Giveaway entries:

Entries will be open for 24 hours from the time the giveaway was announced on Facebook.  The winner will be selected and announced within 7 days after the end of the giveaway entry period.

Winner Selection:

The giveaway winner will be selected randomly from the list of people that like the announcement photo on Facebook during the entry period.

The S. Family

I love what I do.  I get to share moment's in my client's lives and make that moment live on.  I find this extra special when my client is someone I know well.  I'm good friends with H. and I was happy to be able to share in her Step-Daughter's visit.

H. likes hanging picture frames that have multiple pictures in them and tell a story, so I made sure to capture all the pieces to pull the story together.

Her youngest son was especially eager to get his portrait taken and had many fun ideas.

Even though her older son wasn't feeling his best, and doesn't normally like getting his portrait done, he gave me a few grins.

With such awesome kids, our hour session passed by quickly!

I hope their next visit was just as fun as the one they shared with me!

Siouxland Renaissance Festaval

I have been a volunteer at the Siouxland Renaissance Festival for many years now. I love going every year and talking to people and having a good time.  Of course I always bring my camera!  As the Festival nears, I thought it would be fun to do a weekly Renaissance photograph.  This week I'll post two to get us started!

New Etsy Site!

I'm really excited to announce that  I have a new Etsy shop!  From this shop you will be able to purchase prints of many of the Fine Art photographs that you see from me!  You will also be able to order custom portraits of pets and people.  I will be continuing to add to it so if there is something you would like me to offer there just let me know!!

I also sell Fine Art prints on DivantArt, a website that is full of all sorts of inspiration!  I have been selling on
DivantArt for several years, and have a much larger collection on the site.  I decided that my new Etsy shop was necessary because with Etsy I have much more control over pricing and product offerings than I do on DivantArt.  I utilize the site as a way to see what might be popular on my Etsy site so following me there is a great way to get sneek peeks!
